HELP SERVICE FOR ALL PARENTS
Small LIVE class tutor groups 5 - 15 students. Exam preparation up to 17yrs12 hours a week standard £46 - that's £3.83 an hour!
First College students live in the UK, in Europe or Asia.

These help services are for ALL parents and young people, not just the lucky ones who are part of our school community!

Simply write us an email describing the problem and we'll write back with help and advice, and where appropriate, contacts.
It's almost that simple!
You'll want to know that -
What you tell us is totally confidential. Your email will be seen only by the Heads of School, Shan and John.
We only keep your email on file for a few weeks in case you write to us again.
We will never pass your email address on to anyone else.
We will normally write back within 3 days, often much quicker.
To further reassure you a major part of our help and support services comes from Shan Morgain's 20 year career as a humanistic therapist. She worked witrh individuals and families on the whole range of human problems (except addiction. We would respectfully advise you that the ONLY solution to addiction is to get specialist help through your doctor or the youth services.)

TELEPHONE HELP
You can also book a personal consultation with Shan Morgain, where she will discuss the situation with you in depth, by phone.
Telephone support can be enormously effective. It can be very private, direct, human and reassuring. We can cover a great deal more than is possible in an email exchange. It's a very personal experience, at a place you choose to be, in comfort.
It is done at an agreed time, so we make an appointment with you, and then you phone Shan at that time.
The fee is £27 an hour, payable by paypal or direct bank transfer, in advance. [27.00 GBP]
Please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late without notifying Shan this will happen, the hour will be cut short by however long you are late.
As with the email service your information is kept completely confidential.

Why do we do this free service? Because through First College UK we can only help a very small number of families. Yet we have a wealth of experience as successful teachers, parents, home educators. We would like to help a lot more people than we can take into the online school.
We're good professional and kindly communicators, so it doesn't take much for us to write out some help for you.

Why is it called "First College" when it's a high school or secondary school?
We train a strongly collegiate style of studying so that the student learns to take responsibility for their own work and deadlines. It means the transfer to later qualifications, University, or (self) employment is much easier as a result.
First College UK is very much a family business.
We created it to educate our own son, who is now
a trainee online teacher in the school! (under strict supervision)
