First College BOOKING & FEES
JANUARY 2006 - APRIL 2008 Fees average £165 per calendar month - approx £38 per week (this is the full fee as if divided over 12 months/ 52 weeks) A year payment discounts to £156.66 per calendar month, see also additional second child discount below. The full fees are £1,980 a year. You can pay 10 monthly instalments of £198 Sept. - June (the 2 months of July and August are spread over the other months) or £660 per term Discount £1,880 for a year All fees are payable in the first week of the month. Termly in the first week of September, January and April. Or monthly on the first working weekday of the month September - June. There is a £100 deposit to book a place. This is refunded when the student leaves, subject to fees being fully paid, including one month's notice. If paying monthly this would normally mean you pay £98 balance in youyr last month. DISCOUNTS: FULL YEAR PAYMENT 5% DISCOUNT £1,880 if fees paid in 2006 or 2007 saving £100. New families can opt to pay the standard £298 the first month (£100 deposit + one month) and then the discount balance £1,582 at the end of the month. SECOND CHILD: You pay only £150 per month for the second child, instead of £198. This saves almost £500 over the year. If paying termly you pay £500 instead of £660 for the second child saving £160 per term. Please note we do not combine the 5% year discount with the second child discount. Fees for two children over a year are £1,980 for the first child, plus £1,500 for the second child. Total £3,460. We ask for a minimum of one month's notice if you wish to withdraw at any time. This does not apply to the end of the year when your child has reached the age of 16 (end of compulsory full time education under UK law). If you need to withdraw from First College your full balance of payment to us will be refunded, including your booking deposit, calculated from the date one month after the day you give written notice of withdrawal. UNPAID FEES ARE SUBJECT TO FORMAL DEBT COLLECTION & COURT PROCEDURES. ALL SUCH COSTS ARE ADDED TO THE DEBT. ALL DEBT OR DISPUTES ARE SUBJECT TO UK LAW. We reserve the right to ask a Student to be withdrawn immediately, at our discretion, for the benefit of others; in this case any refund will be at our discretion. We undertake to use such discretion in a reasonable manner. We reserve the right occasionally where necessary to alter our terms of trade without notice.
