We know it's an anxious time deciding on what's best
for your child's education so we try not to make it complicated.
rose marker STEP ONE. TALK TO US!
Very important step because we need to understand both your child and you, and exactly what you need.
For your part you will want lots of clear information, to understand how it all works, and what we are like.
Our emails are normally answered the same day or if they arrive late, during the following day.
We're here for you to phone usually until about 7pm (19.00) UK time.
On a weekday in term time before 2pm/ 14.00 (UK) please understand we might be teaching so we might ask to talk to you a little later.

rose marker STEP TWO. QUESTIONNAIRE.
We send you a Questionnaire to fill out and return.It's a straightforward word processor document, sent as an email attachment, to be returned the same way.
It's quite friendly and your child/ young person is very welcome to do as much of it with you, or for you, as you wish.

rose marker STEP THREE. PAYMENT
We'll also send a guide to our contract, fees and how to pay them.
If you're booking more than a month ahead, you just pay the £100 Deposit to reserve your place for an agreed date. The Deposit also holds your place on a waiting list at busy times when that occasionally becomes necessary.
If we have a free place, and you want to start right away, you need to pay the first month's instalment of £198 as well as the £100 Deposit.
Payment is by bank transfer or Paypal.
If you start mid-month we will discount your second month.
Normally you give us a month's notice to leave. You then "top up" your Deposit to make a full month's instalment.
But if you decide to leave during your first month you do not have to give us a month's notice.

rose marker STEP FOUR. NEW STUDENT INTRODUCTION
The student has a personal one-to-one introduction, to go through how the Classrooms work. We also help them set up their own instant messenger so that from then on they can contact us easily to get help.
New students actually begin classes on Tuesday when we are less busy than Mondays. The Timetable on Tuesdays is also designed for the most supportive, easy day for newcomers. So the introduction is arranged with you, by appointment, on the Monday afternoon or as close to that as possible.
The introductory session is usually held on Monday at 15.00 (UK) or later, after we finish our school hours.
If you are in an Eastern timezone such as India or China we can arrange a better time for you.
Please note information on access IS NOT SENT OUT until after classes end at 14.00. This is because enthusiastic newcomers tend to 'have a go' - and we do not want a newcomer wandering in to become lost and bewildered in the middle of a busy school day.
During the introduction session, the parent is welcome to watch, and can often be needed for a little help. This session can take anything from half an hour to an hour or so, depending on how used the student is, and you are, to internet things. It is best to do it on the computer the student will usually be using for school.
Afterwards the student usually feels nicely relaxed, confident, and looking forward to their first day in the morning.

After the first day's classes are done as long as the student is feeling contented,
we will send you information on how to start handling homework.
